I know its been a few days. But We are back from Newport where we had a great screening. We are now getting ready to head to San Diego for the SDSFF at Birds Shed and it should be an amazing show. We are scheduled to play Friday night at 8:45pm so get tickets while available.

When guys weren't surfing, they were skating. You either would free fall down a hill tucked in a stylish motion as the air flowed thru your body lines or be on the look out for any hill, slope, or bump to ride and turn into a concrete wave. In the end you were RIDING!

Yesterday's photo of Purpus seemed to get a lot of attention. It's really amazing to read all the comments from the times as well as even the girl who was standing next to him. Well, todays photo is different. I just love seeing these kind of shots that capture a period of time when there were no crowds.

Yesterday's posting of PT at his desk with his typewriter was a shot that created great conversations. PT remembered traveling with that typewriter everywhere around the world. And so the stories continue as I got a call from Reno yesterday asking if I had any prints that he could use for a speaking event that he is going to be hosting at the Surfer Bar at Turtle Bay. It's been amazing to reunite these guys with images from their past.
